About DWC Pipe for Electrical
DWC Pipe for Electrical is a double-wall corrugated HDPE conduit developed for underground protection of power, control and communication cables. The corrugated outside wall provides ring stiffness and resistance to external loading, while the smooth inside wall provides a cleaner path for cable pulling.
HDPE construction makes the duct lightweight, non-corrosive and resistant to moisture and many ground chemicals. The double-wall profile helps combine structural performance with a lower material weight than a solid-wall conduit of similar external diameter.
The product is suited to utility corridors, road crossings, industrial campuses, substations and renewable-energy sites. Final diameter, stiffness class, jointing method, installation depth and backfill requirement must be selected according to the engineering design and applicable project standard.
