About Smooth PLB Duct
Smooth PLB (Pre-Lubricated) HDPE Duct is designed as a protective pathway for optical-fibre and communication cables. The low-friction inner surface helps cable blowing, pushing or pulling over long routes while reducing rubbing against the cable sheath.
The HDPE construction gives the duct a useful combination of flexibility, impact resistance and resistance to moisture, corrosion and many chemicals normally encountered in underground telecom work. This makes it suitable for both urban and long-distance network infrastructure.
